Bay State Baseball Team Registration Process

Welcome to Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions. If this is your first year, we welcome you to our premier youth baseball summer league. If you are returning as a coach or town administrator, we thank you for your loyalty.

You will need the following information to register a team:

  • Town administrator (i.e. registrar) contact information
  • Team manager contact information
  • Town and age level
  • Field name and location
  • Payment information
With that information ready, registration will take 3-5 minutes.

Frequently asked questions:
How do I pay for registration fees?
Bay State Baseball now encourages the use of credit cards to register teams. Credit cards help us with accounting and scheduling efficiency. Bay State Baseball has selected Paypal as our credit card vendor. Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards and Paypal accounts.
Can I combine my town with another town?
Bay State Baseball has allowed Multi-Town teams to register since 2012 . Multi-Town teams are designed to allow our youth from small towns that might not have enough quality players to compete at high level of baseball to combine forces with neighboring towns in similar situations. What does the registration fee cover?
Registration fees cover medical and liability insurance for all players, umpire administration (we hire professional umpire assignors), trophies and awards, the end-of-season barbeque for all players, special events like the home-run derby and the TOC weekend activities.
What other costs should we expect?
During qualifying games, the home team pays for both umpires. For trophy weekends and TOC qualifying games, the teams split the umpire fees. Learn more: Paying Umpires Bay State Baseball. The only other potential league fees are forfeit fees, but those are only assessed if you forfeit games, on the date that you forfeit. What is CORI certification?
All towns must certify that their manager and coaches have passed CORI (Criminal Offender Records Information) background checks from the state of Massachusetts – it is a legal requirement.
What is an injury waiver?
Our insurance company requires that teams collect Injury Waiver signatures from all parents and/or guardians. All managers must keep them on hand. Bay State Baseball directors and commissioners will periodically audit these forms at game sites. NO CHILD MAY PLAY IN A BAY STATE BASEBALL GAME OR PRACTICE WITHOUT AN INJURY WAIVER SIGNATURE ON FILE WITH THE TEAM. There is no insurance without an injury waiver.
