  50/70 Program Expanded

Major Team Composition Rule Change

Unable to field a team in your town, you may be eligible to join with another town.  Bay State Baseball allows multiple towns to combine their local spring programs to form one Bay State Baseball entry under specific conditions (Read more ...)

Pitching Rule Change

Pitchers in the A and B Divisions may pitch a maximum of 9 innings each week and pitchers in the C Division may pitch a maximum of 7 innings per week.

 


 
  • Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions celebrates 30 years of providing premier youth baseball activities for boys and girls ages 9-12.  Return often to learn about our many activities for the coming season to celebrate our 30th year.
     

  • Bay State Baseball will allow multiple towns to combine their local spring programs to form one Bay State Baseball entry under specific conditions. The intent of this significant change in policy is to enable more baseball players have an opportunity to play in a competitive baseball program.  (Read more ....)
     

  • Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions announces the establishment of a Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions Scholarship fund.  This fund will award annually a one time $1000 scholarship award to a graduating senior of an accredited public, private, parochial, vocational or charter high school who has been accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning or accredited vocational training program, and who has been a participant of the Bay State Baseball Tournament of Champions.   • The Bay State Tournament of Champions Board of Directors thanks each of the communities that hosted 2011 Qualifying Weekends, Trophy Weekends, TOC Pool Play, TOC Quarter Finals, TOC Semi Finals and TOC Finals: Winchester, Acton, Sudbury, Andover, East Cambridge, Marblehead, Lawrence, Framingham, Waltham, Westford, Stoneham, Natick, Wakefield and Weston.
     
  • As has been the policy of Bay State Tournament of Champions, all bats that are currently allowed for use in either Little League or Cal Ripken division of Babe Ruth baseball are eligible for use in Bay State Tournament of Champions.  Effective June 24, 2011, Babe Ruth baseball has lifted its moratorium on composite material bats for Cal Ripken Baseball.  Consequently, all bats are now eligible for use in Cal Ripken Baseball provided they are (a) less than or equal to 2.25" diameter and (b) less than or equal to 33" in length.  Bay State Tournament of Champions will now follow those same rules.
